i bought my x360 the day they came out...(yes i was the guy in line for 24 hours out side best buy) and 2 week after i got it i got the RROD. Then they sent me a new X360 with another hard drive and controller that console lasted 4 years or so. Until early this year i got the RROD again and thats when it began so far this year i have had to send my box in 3 times... needless to say i now have a backup box that my wife uses to watch netflix on.

its crzay with all the 360 fails but i still love the system lol, and this is why a lot of people will be going to get the ps3 slim

That makes it worse and can perma destroy your 360..

It's only a temp fix, not recommended..

the towel trick is to get the ring of death if your box is messing up and xbox wont fix it...Its not to fix anything!

if you use the towel and it gets wet it might show in the internal area, if so microsoft won't do a thing to help you , it is best to let it go naturaly than make it go pre-maturely. My dad tried that with his and they found out some how and wouldn't help. Also if you try to take it apart they can tell if it has been tampered with, which means, if you start to take panneling off, you will loose your warranty.

Nice, I know it will happen to me sooner or later. So nice to know that those bast*rds are going to finally give me something in return when something bad happens.

Thanks for the info "Camping". But one question. Do they cover the RROD for 3 years after your consoles purchase? Or in general for the next 3 years they will cover the RROD?

As of March 2nd Activision cut Infinity Ward from the Call of Duty world. Sledgehammer gmaes will now take over, they have stated they will have a new Call of Duty out in 2011. Could this mean Infinity Ward will go solo and make more modern warfares? Leave what you think here.
