I bought my wife a box just so i would have a back up.... a friend of mine got the RROD and fixed it himself and has had no problem since, however if you fix it your self when you turn it on for the first time put in a game you hate cause it ate his WAW

yes the weld in the factory is sub par so it comes loose. when you do it your self it becomes stronger

i think the RROD is planed like why would they make something to tell you the console is broken(refering to the red lights) and every unit that is shipped out after the rrod is another unit shipped. and the consoles are based off units shipped

Almost all things electric or motorized had a sensor system that informs someone that what the problem is... you just have to know what your looking for...the RROD everyone know because they choose to people get pissed when something they use 4 or 5 hrs a day breaks. so it gets posted on the internet.

As of March 2nd Activision cut Infinity Ward from the Call of Duty world. Sledgehammer gmaes will now take over, they have stated they will have a new Call of Duty out in 2011. Could this mean Infinity Ward will go solo and make more modern warfares? Leave what you think here.
